Bedford Based Wedding Photographer
Your wedding photographs are going to be the lasting memories of your special day, the people that were able to share it with you and all the details that combine to make that one day as special as it is.
Choosing Your Wedding Photographer
How do you choose your Wedding Photographer?
Firstly look through a portfolio of wedding photographs to see if their style and creative vision matches that which you want for your own wedding.
My style is to capture your stories as they unfold in a natural and unobtrusive way with minimal posing or fuss. I will flit through your wedding securing your memories whilst not getting in the way of proceedings. Portraying natural reactions and emotions is always most flattering and real so this is what I strive for. The only posed photographs will be any that you request, I will give as much or as little direction as you need and will help you to feel at ease in front of the camera.
You like the Wedding Photography so now what?
Contact the wedding photographer to check their availability for your wedding date. Then arrange to meet your photographer to discuss the details.
It is very important to meet your wedding photographer at least once before the big day. It gives us both a chance to get to know each other, which for me means a better understanding of how best to photograph you on your wedding day. An engagement shoot is a great way to get introduced to both myself and the feeling of being in front of the camera. They are part of most wedding photography packages found in the prices section, although they are of course optional. The personality of your wedding photographer is almost just as important as their photographic style and abilities, so make sure you like them. I do reccommend at least speaking to if not meeting with a few different photographers to get a good idea for personalities.
I now offer a free no obligation engagement shoot. As a recent wedding survey revealed that 30% of the brides questioned were disappointed with their wedding photos, this approach gives you the opportunity to try before you buy. An engagement shoot will give you the chance to experience being photographed before your big day so you will know what to expect and pick up tips on how to position yourselves. It also gives us the chance to get to know each other and explore ideas for your wedding photos.
So how does it work?
Just get in contact with your interest and I will respond with availability. I will then work with you to find your perfect location and get an understanding of what style you are looking for. We arrive at an agreed location on an agreed date and have a great time getting some amazing photographs. I will then professionally edit your photos and present them to you. It is then up to you based on your experience and the engagement photos whether to book your wedding photography with me too. Choosing to book automatically entitles you to all your edited engagement photos as part of any wedding package that you choose.
